Six Newport clients selected by the Kraken July 22, 2021

The 2021 NHL Expansion Draft was held last night. The Seattle Kraken selected one player each from 30 of the 31 other NHL teams. Among the players selected by the leagues newest franchise were Newport clients: Brandon Tanev, Jordan Eberle, Calle Jarnkrok, Vince Dunn, Jamie Oleksiak and Cale Fleury.

Seattle will play its first NHL game Oct. 12 at the Vegas Golden Knights, and its home opener, at Climate Pledge Arena, will be Oct. 23 against the Vancouver Canucks.
