Danault named first star in Habs’ win November 11, 2016
Philip Danault scored a goal and won 78% of his faceoffs last night, as the Montreal Canadiens cruised to a 4-1 victory over the Los Angeles Kings. The native of Victoriaville, Québec has been in the form of his career in 2016-17, playing over 13 minutes a game while contributing to the score sheet on a regular basis. Through just 14 games, the 2011 1st round pick has already set career highs in goals and points, and he looks well on his way to a breakout NHL campaign.
