Lundqvist puts on a show in Rangers’ romp November 02, 2016
Henrik Lundqvist was in midseason form on Tuesday night, steering aside all 35 shots he faced in a 5-0 win over the St. Louis Blues. He would go on to be named the first star of the contest. The shutout was the 60th of Lundqvist’s career, placing the Are, Sweden-native 17th in the all-time rankings, and 2nd amongst European-born goalies. In eight games this season, the New York Rangers netminder has a record of 5-3 with a goals against average of 2.17.
