Marchand stays hot in season opener October 14, 2016
Brad Marchand continued his strong play of late, tallying a career-high five points in Boston’s 6-3 rout of Columbus last night. A standout player in Canada’s gold medal triumph at the recently contested World Cup of Hockey, Marchand picked up where he left off, claiming first star honours in Boston’s season opener. The 28-year-old winger had arguably the best performance of the NHL season thus far, registering 2 goals, 3 assists, 7 shots on net and an incredible +5 rating.
