Ryan excels in preseason win September 30, 2016

Bobby Ryan was named the 3rd star of the contest last night, as the Ottawa Senators defeated the Montreal Canadiens by a score of 4-3. The Cherry Hill, New Jersey-native got the Senators off to a fast start in the 1st period, assisting on the first goal of the game before later scoring his team’s second on the power play. He would go on to finish the game with a +1 rating and 5 hits. The 29-year-old winger is coming off of a season that saw him tally 56 points (including 22 goals) in 81 games.
