Shinkaruk has come a long way June 25, 2013

On his journey to the NHL, Hunter Shinkaruk has faced adversity at every turn. Questions regarding his size, injuries that could have ended his career before it started, and other heart-breaking setbacks, checkered his early years. With just a few days remaining before hearing his name called at the 2013 NHL Draft, most likely early in the first round, the Calgarian has a lot to look forward to, and a lot to be proud of.
