Karlsson and Doughty among Norris Trophy finalists June 20, 2016

Erik Karlsson and Drew Doughty have been selected as 2 of the 3 finalists for this year’s Norris Trophy, handed out to the “defensive player who demonstrates throughout the season the greatest all-round ability in that position." Karlsson was the offensive standout of the group, leading all defensemen in points (82) and placing 1^st overall among all skaters in assists with 66. Doughty placed 9^th among D-men in scoring with 51 points but his real strength was on the defensive end of the ice, where he led the Los Angeles Kings to the 3^rd best goals allowed mark in the league.
