Cullen played pivotal role in Penguins’ triumph June 16, 2016
Matt Cullen provided Pittsburgh with much more than just veteran leadership this year, adding offensive punch to the Penguins’ lineup in both the regular season and playoffs. The 39-year-old center rolled back the years in 2015-16, scoring 16 regular season goals, the most he had recorded since 2009-10. The Minnesota-native proved he still had a lot left in the tank for the Penguins’ cup run, scoring a number of crucial goals, including 2 game winners in the Eastern Conference First Round versus the New York Rangers.
