Kessel named 2nd star in Penguins’ triumph June 02, 2016
Phil Kessel scored the opening goal last night, in the Pittsburgh Penguins’ 2-1, overtime victory over the San Jose Sharks in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals. The Madison, Wisconsin-native has been one of the driving forces in the Penguins’ playoff run, leading his team in both goals (10) and points (19). The 28-year-old sharpshooter leads all skaters league-wide in shots on net with 83, averaging more than 4 per game this postseason.
