Gudbranson traded to Canucks May 27, 2016
Erik Gudbranson was traded to the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday, in exchange for Jared McCann and two picks in the upcoming 2016 NHL Entry Draft. The 24-year-old defenseman had solidified his role on the Florida Panthers this past season as a gritty, defensive defenseman who excels at killing penalties. In 2015-16, the Ottawa-native tallied 9 points in 64 games, with a plus/minus rating of +3.
