Kessel dominates in Game 6 triumph May 11, 2016
Phil Kessel was named the 2nd star of the game last night, in the Pittsburgh Penguins’ 4-3, overtime and series-clinching victory over the Washington Capitals. The 28-year-old speedy winger paced the Penguins with two goals, and made a key pass on the game-winner in overtime. The Madison, Wisconsin-native has once again proved to be a clutch performer in the playoffs, having now tallied 12 points (5 goals, 7 assists) in 11 games in 2016. Kessel, for his career, is a point-a-game player in the postseason, with an impressive 33 points (including 18 goals) in 33 games.
