Backes and Brouwer come through in Game 2 win May 02, 2016

David Backes scored the overtime winner and Troy Brouwer was named the first star last night, as the St. Louis Blues came away with a clutch, 4-3 victory over the Dallas Stars, evening the series at 1-1. Brouwer got the Blues rolling early, setting up the team’s second goal before adding the third late in the first period. As for Backes, the Blues’ captain has been the epitome of clutch this postseason, having now scored 2 game-winning goals, both coming in overtime.
