Mrazek records shutout in Game 3 triumph April 18, 2016
Down 2-0 in their best-of-seven, First Round series, the Detroit Red Wings bounced back with a 2-0 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning last night, backstopped by Petr Mrazek’s shutout performance. The Czech-born goalie steered aside all 16 shots he faced in the contest, and would go on to be named the 3rd star of the game. The 24-year-old has a history of success against Tampa Bay in the playoffs. In 8 games, he has registered a 1.83 Goals Against Average (GAA), a save percentage of .931 and 3 shutouts.
