Ryan O’Reilly was named the 2nd star of the game last night, as the Buffalo Sabres defeated the New Jersey Devils by a score of 3-1. The Clinton, Ontario-native scored the game’s opening goal and would go on to lead all forwards with 23:08 of ice time. The rugged center is finishing the season on a high note, leading his team with 4 goals and 3 assists in his last 5 games. It has already been one of O’Reilly best offensive seasons to date having registered career-highs in assists (38) and points per game (0.86).
