Mrazek helps end Wings' 4-game skid February 24, 2016
Petr Mrazek backstopped the Detroit Red Wings to a 2-1 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets last night, ending a four-game slide in the process. The Czech netminder steered aside 28 of the 29 shots, including 18 in the 3rd period and overtime combined. The 24-year-old has been excellent in his first season as Detroit’s starting goalie, compiling a record of 23-11 with a goals-against-average of 2.07 and a save percentage .928.
