Kessel leads the way in Penguins’ triumph January 22, 2016
Phil Kessel scored two goals—including the eventual game-winner—in the Pittsburgh Penguins’ 4-3 win over the Philadelphia Flyers last night. The 28-year-old sniper gave his team the lead late in the second period before a adding an insurance goal in the 3rd. He would go on to be named the 1st star of the contest, leading all players in shots on net with 6.
