Pietrangelo guides shorthanded Blues to win January 21, 2016
Forced to play the entire contest with just five defensemen, Alex Pietrangelo stepped up his game in a big way, leading the St. Louis Blues to a 2-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings last night. The 26-year-old defensive stalwart was named the first star of the game after assisting on both Blues’ goals and leading all players in both shots on net (5) and ice-time logged (28:28).
