Doughty named 3rd star in Kings victory; Richards and Lewis add assists May 24, 2013

The Los Angeles Kings bounced back with a 3-0 win over the San Jose Sharks last night, taking the lead in the series, 3-2. In what was a tight checking battle from beginning to end, Drew Doughty was a standout on defence, logging the most minutes on either team.

Although he did not feature on the scoreboard, the product of London, Ontario was a dominating force on the ice, whether it was blocking shots and passing lanes, or making key hits. He finished the game with 27:58 of ice time, 4 minutes more than anyone else on the night.

Trevor Lewis and Mike Richards were also key contributors in the contest, adding assists on the second and third goals, respectively.

Game 6 goes Sunday in San Jose.
