Stamkos erupts with three-point performance May 04, 2015

Steven Stamkos scored his first goal of the NHL playoffs last night, as the Tampa Bay Lightning routed the Montréal Canadiens by a score of 6-2. The two-time Maurice “Rocket” Richard Award winner also added two assists in the contest, and went on to be named the first star of the match. Stamkos broke the game open in the second period, when he scored on a semi-breakaway with a nifty move. The Markham-native has registered 6 points (1 goal, 5 assists) in 9 playoff games to date.
