Lundqvist stands tall in Rangers’ win April 23, 2015

Henrik Lundqvist turned aside 22 of the 23 shots he faced, as the New York Rangers came away with a 2-1, overtime victory last night, pushing the Pittsburgh Penguins to the brink of elimination in the Eastern Conference First Round. After the Rangers gave up the first goal two minutes into the game, the Swedish star held down the fort, stopping every shot he faced from that point on. He would go on to be named the second star of the contest.
