Mrazek saves the day in Red Wings win April 17, 2015

Making his first ever NHL playoffs start in net, Petr Mrazek performed above and beyond expectation on Thursday, steering aside 44 shots in Detroit’s, 3-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning. The rookie goalie was a unanimous choice for first star of the match, as the shot totals were a lopsided 46-14 in favour of the Lightning.  The Czech-product was most impressive on the penalty kill, where he stopped all 12 shots he faced.
