Mrazek snags top honours in the AHL March 02, 2015

Petr Mrazek was named the CCM/AHL’s player of the week on Monday, after leading the Grand Rapids Griffins to three straight victories. The product of Ostrava, Czech Republic was nearly unbeatable between the pipes, steering aside 85 of the 87 shots he faced. He finished the week with a perfect record of 3-0-0, a goals-against-average of 0.67, and .976 save percentage. Overall, it has been an excellent season for the 23-year-old netminder, who has excelled at both the AHL and NHL level.
