Petr Mrazek recorded his third career shutout and Justin Abdelkader scored the game-winning goal, as the Detroit Red Wings defeated the Colorado Avalanche by a score of 3-0 on Thursday.  The 22-year-old Czech goaltender continued his outstanding play last night, steering aside all 28 shots he faced. Abdelkader, meanwhile, was named the second star of the contest after scoring a goal and registering 4 shots on net. Through 44 games, the rugged winger already has equaled his career-high in points (28), while his 12 goals are a new career-best.
