Schwartz leads the charge in Blues’ win January 20, 2015
Jaden Schwartz was named the first star of the game last night, as the St. Louis Blues defeated the Colorado Avalanche by a score of 3-1. The 3rd year winger assisted on the Blues’ opening goal before scoring the game-winner just 32 seconds into the 2nd period. It was his 3rd game-winning goal of the season, and 7th power-play marker. Drafted 14th overall in 2010, Schwartz has followed up his breakout 2013 campaign (25 goals, 31 assists in 80 games) with another excellent season to date. In 39 games this year, he has 16 goals and 21 assists, with +/- rating of +15.
