Nyquist helps orchestrate Wings’ comeback January 19, 2015
Gustav Nyquist scored a goal and added an assist last night, as the Detroit Red Wings came from behind to beat the Buffalo Sabres, 6-4. Down 3-0, the Swedish-born star cued the comeback early in the second period, scoring a power play marker to cut into the Sabres’ lead. He would later follow that up with the primary assist on the game’s winning goal, and went on to be named the 2nd star of the match. In his last six matches, Nyquist has tallied three goals and five assists.
