Abdelkader leads the charge in Red Wings’ triumph January 07, 2015

Justin Abdelkader was named the first star last night, in the Detroit Wings 4-2 victory over the Edmonton Oilers. The Muskegon-native set up the winning goal with just 34 seconds left in the contest, and finished the game with a goal and two assists. The goal was his 10th of the season, which ties his career best total set in 2012-13. Through 33 games this year, the 27-year-old winger has 21 points (10 goals, 11 assists).
