Palat guides Lightning to easy win January 01, 2015

Ondrej Palat and his Tampa Bay linemates proved too much for the Sabres to handle last night, as the Lightning cruised to a 5-1 victory. The 23-year-old Czech winger was a menace to Buffalo’s defence all night long, scoring once while adding three assists and a +/- rating of +4. He went on to be named the first star of the contest. The second year star has been hot of late, tallying eight points (1 goal, 7 assists) in his last 4 games.
