Rugged winger Justin Abdelkader was front and center in the Red Wings come from behind, 4-3 win over the Winnipeg Jets last night. Down a goal late in the 3rd, the Muskegon-native took over the game, tying the score with nifty tip-in before setting up the winning goal just minutes later. The veteran of six NHL seasons is well on his way to a career year. Through 19 games, he has already put up impressive numbers, scoring 6 goals and adding 8 assists.
