Ritchie leads Texas to victory May 27, 2014

Brett Ritchie was named the 1st star of the game, as the Texas Stars defeated the Toronto Marlies 6-3, evening their Western Conference series at a game apiece. The Orangeville, Ontario native scored two goals to pace the Stars, who lost the opener 5-1. Ritchie, a 6-foot-4 power forward who was drafted 44th overall in 2011, has been a big addition to the Stars squad after missing the better part of the AHL playoffs with a lower-body injury. Since returning, he has 3 goals in 3 games played.
