Hertl helps Czechs advance to semifinals May 22, 2014
Tomas Hertl scored the vital go-ahead goal as the Czech Republic beat the U.S.A. 4-3 in their quarterfinal clash on Thursday. The 20-year-old winger jumped on a rebound early in the second period to give the Czechs their first lead of the game. Hertl has been a solid contributor to his team thus far, scoring two goals and assisting on three others in six games played.
