Doughty and Toffoli star in historic Kings win May 01, 2014

Drew Doughty and Tyler Toffoli both scored, as the Los Angeles Kings beat the San Jose Sharks 5-1 to advance to the 2nd round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Down 3-0 in the series, the Kings came all the way back, winning four consecutive matches to advance.  Doughty scored a power play goal early in the second period to tie the game, and went on to be named the game’s third star. Toffoli meanwhile scored an important insurance goal in the 3rd period to put the game out of reach. It was the young star’s 3rd goal of the series, good for 7th overall in the playoffs thus far.
