Iginla scores the winner in O.T. thriller April 25, 2014
Jarome Iginla tipped in the game winning goal 13:32 into overtime, as the Boston Bruins defeated the Detroit Red Wings, 3-2. It was the 36-year-old sniper’s first goal of the playoffs, and it could not have come at a better time. Playing in his 17th season, the six-time NHL All-Star and Olympic gold medalist is looking to get his hands on that elusive, first Stanley Cup ring. Iginla is coming off a regular season that saw him score an incredible 30 goals or more for the 12th time in his career.
