Nyquist, Lundqvist and Iginla named NHL’s three stars of the week March 24, 2014

Red Wings forward Gustav Nyquist was named the top player of the week (ending March 23) on Monday, after scoring six goals and an assist in four games played. As a result of his impressive performance, Detroit jumped into a wildcard position with 11 games left on the schedule. Meanwhile, Henrik Lundqvist was also a clutch performer for his team, backstopping the Rangers to three straight wins, including a shutout on Saturday.  As for Iginla, the superstar winger was in fine form all week long, scoring 5 goals in 4 games.
