Nyquist scores a hat-trick in Wings’ loss February 03, 2014

Red Wings forward Gustav Nyquist was named the 1^st star in last night’s 6-5 Red Wings loss to the Washington Capitals. In a topsy-turvy match that saw the Capitals win in overtime, Nyquist was a force from start to finish, scoring a goal in every period as well as assisting on the goal that eventually forced overtime. The four-point performance now gives the Swedish dynamo 22 points for the season, as he continues his red-hot play of late.
