Kessel named 2nd star for the month of January February 03, 2014
After tying for the most points scored in January, Phil Kessel was named the 2nd star of the month. The Maple Leafs winger was an integral factor in his team’s rise in the standings, moving into 3rd in the Atlantic Division. In 15 games played, the Wisconsin-product put up superstar type numbers, scoring 7 goals and adding 13 assists.
