Green scores 100th career coal in Caps victory January 29, 2014

Mike Green put on an offensive display last night, as the Washington Capitals defeated the Buffalo Sabres, 5-4. Named the first star of the game, the 28-year-old D-man scored twice, including the winner in overtime, while adding an assist and 5 shots on net.  His first tally of the contest, which came halfway through the 2^nd period, was the 100^th goal of his career. The defensive dynamo has turned it on in the month of January, putting up 11 points (4 goals, 7 assists) in his last 12 games.
