Nyquist, Abdelkader help Wings top Hawks January 23, 2014

Playing together on a top scoring line, Gustav Nyquist and Justin Abdelkader rose to the occasion Wednesday, both playing an integral role in the Red Wings 5-4 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks. The dynamic duo contributed to the attack with 2 points apiece, and combined for 7 of Detroit’s 31 shots on net. Nyquist came up especially big in the 2^nd period, setting up a goal before scoring one himself to give the Wings the lead.
