Lundqvist shuts the door in Rangers win January 01, 2014

After giving up the opening goal halfway through the second period, Henrik Lundqvist went on to stop everything thrown his way, as the New York Rangers defeated the Florida Panthers 2-1. The Swedish netminder’s clutch play, which included 3 shootout saves and a game saving stop on Tomas Kopecky in overtime, earned him the game’s first star.
