Perry brilliant in Ducks’ victory December 10, 2013
The Anaheim Ducks remained unbeaten at home in regulation time, as they cruised to a 5-2 win over the New York Islanders. Named first star of the game, Corey Perry scored twice, including a highlight reel goal at the end of the second period that put his team up 4-2. Perry’s two goals gives him 20 for the season, making him the first player in the league to reach that total. The prolific marksman has been on fire of late, scoring a goal or more in six straight games.
