Harding and Parise do the heavy lifting in 3-1 win December 09, 2013

Thanks to a gargantuan performance by goaltender Josh Harding last night, the Minnesota Wild hung on to defeat the San Jose sharks, 3-1. Outshot 38-12, the 2012-13 Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy winner kept his team in the game and then some, stopping all but one shot he faced.  He would go on to be named the first star of the contest. Meanwhile, Zach Parise took care of the Wild’s attack, scoring two goals including the empty-netter that iced the game with six seconds remaining.
