Rasmus Dahlin Sets New Record for NHL Defenseman October 21, 2022 - NHL

Rasmus Dahlin became the first defenseman in NHL history to score in each of the first four games of a season in the Buffalo Sabres' 6-3 win against the Calgary Flames at Scotiabank Saddledome on Thursday.  

Dahlin is also the second defenseman in Sabres history to have a four-game goal streak at any point of the season, joining Phil Housley.  

He has six points in four games while skating 24-plus minutes a night, mostly against opposing top lines, and has compiled a plus-6 rating in the process. 

Dahlin will look to build on his hot start to the campaign tomorrow night in Vancouver, as the Sabres visit the Canucks for a Saturday night matchup.
