PK Subban named 2021-22 King Clancy Memorial Trophy Winner June 08, 2022 - Sportsnet
New Jersey Devils defenceman P.K. Subban has been named the 2021-22 King Clancy Memorial Trophy winner, presented to the player “who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and has made a noteworthy humanitarian contribution in his community.”
Subban, a four-time finalist, launched the P.K. Subban Foundation in 2014, and made a $10-million pledge to the Montreal's Children's Hospital in 2015. He has also recently directed important donations to Ukrainian cancer patients who have been displaced due to the ongoing war in their country. He also serves as the co-chair of the NHL's Player Inclusion Committee.
Subban is the first Devils player to win the King Clancy Memorial Trophy.
