Pronger’s No. 44 to be Raised to Rafters Alongside Blues’ Greats January 17, 2022 - NHL

The St. Louis Blues will raise Hall of Fame defenseman Chris Pronger’s No. 44 to the rafters tonight during a pregame ceremony. Pronger will become the eighth player in franchise history to have his number retired by the Blues.

Over nine seasons in Blue & Gold, Pronger played in 598 regular-season games and tallied 356 points (84 goals, 272 assists) and 931 penalty minutes. He was named to the All-Star team four times and finished in the Top 5 of the Norris Trophy voting five times. In 1999-20, Pronger became just the second player in NHL history to earn the Norris Trophy and the Hart Trophy in the same season.
