Annual Hockey Fights Cancer Night Holds Special Significance for Theodore Family November 23, 2021

Shea Theodore & the Vegas Golden Knights hosted their annual Hockey Fights Cancer Night on Saturday, November 20 against the Columbus Blue Jackets. During warmups, the team wore specialty Hockey Fights Cancer lavender jerseys to be signed and made available for purchase through an online auction. Proceeds from night will go to the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation. In addition, the Foundation will donate to charitable organizations that were created to honour the legacies of Golden Knights staff and family members that have been impacted by cancer, including Kay's Power Play Fund (in memory of Shea's late grandmother, Kay Darlington). Theodore, a survivor himself, teamed up with Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada to launch Kay’s Power Play Fund to help raise awareness, provide resources for early detection and help women take active measures to combat breast cancer.
