Stone named first captain in Golden Knights’ history January 14, 2021

Mark Stone made Vegas Golden Knights’ history on Wednesday, becoming their first ever team captain. The 28-year-old winger from Winnipeg, Manitoba has been an excellent addition to the club since joining in February of 2019, tallying 27 goals and 49 assists (75 points) in 84 games played. He was mostly recently named the 1st star of the game in Vegas’ 5-2 defeat of Anaheim in the season opener, tallying 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist), 5 hits and a +2 rating.
