Chiarot has huge night in Habs’ win February 21, 2020

Ben Chiarot was named the first star of the game last night, guiding the Montreal Canadiens to a 4-3 defeat of the Washington Capitals. The 28-year-old defenseman played a key role in the Habs’ win, tallying two goals  -- including the overtime game-winner – along with 4 shots on net, 4 hits and 3 blocked shots in a game-high, 28:05 of ice-time. Through 61 games, the Hamilton, Ontario-native has already set new career-highs in both goals (9) and game-winning goals (3).
