Tkachuk and Flames come to terms on new contract September 26, 2019
Matthew Tkachuk signed a new three-year contract with the Calgary Flames on Wednesday. The rising star will be paid an annual salary of $7 million. Drafted 6th overall by the Flames in 2016, the Scottsdale-native had a breakout season in 2018-19, tallying career-highs in nearly every category, including goals (34), points (77) and plus/minus rating (+14).
