Player Trade
Edmunson traded to Hurricanes September 25, 2019
Joel Edmunson found a new home on Tuesday, after the St. Louis Blues traded the 26-year-old defenseman to the Carolina Hurricanes in a multi-player deal. Selected 46th overall by the Blues in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, the big-bodied blue liner was an integral contributor to the Blues’ recent Stanley Cup run, registering 7 points (1 goal, 6 assists) in 22 games played.
