Thomas makes grand gesture for family in need September 11, 2019

Recent Stanley Cup champion Robert Thomas decided to share some of his good fortune with a family in distress last week. After hearing about the Hanlon’s, a family living in Fenton, Missouri who had lost everything in a fire earlier this summer, the 20-year-old center decided to surprise the family at the house where they currently reside. Bearing a gift bag and hockey gear, Thomas even stuck around to play some street hockey with some of the Hanlon family’s kids, who were thrilled to have the opportunity to play with a real-life NHLer.
