Recently retired Red Wings captain to play in Winter Classic alumni game October 02, 2013
Nicklas Lidstrom has decided to make a return to the ice—if only for a game. A seven-time Norris Trophy winner, Lidstrom will team up with fellow Red Wing greats such as Brendan Shanahan and Chris Chelios in the Winter Classic alumni game, part of the lead-up festivities to the Winter Classic between the Wings and Leafs on January 1st.
